The Trail Shilstone 5 Man Family Tent is an ideal choice for families or small groups seeking a spacious, standing-height shelter for extended camping trips. Its standout feature is the versatile three-zone layout, including a light-blocking Dark Zone bedroom and a protective front awning, though its 22.5kg weight means it is better suited for car camping rather than backpacking.

Yes, the bedroom divider is detachable, allowing you to choose between one large sleeping area or two separate compartments.
The tent is designed for year-round adventures with high-grade waterproof materials, though it is primarily optimized for spring, summer, and autumn camping.
Yes, the tent includes a durable groundsheet to protect the interior from moisture and debris.
The bedroom is designed as a five-berth space, meaning it can accommodate up to five people sleeping side-by-side.
The tent packs down into an oversized carry bag measuring 78cm x 35cm x 35cm.
Yes, the tent features a zipped cable access point, ceiling hooks, and cable straps to safely route and hang electrical power cords.
Ensure the poles are fully clicked together at the joints and do not force them; check for internal obstructions or folds in the fabric.
Ensure all ventilation points are open. Avoid cooking inside the tent and keep wet gear in the awning area rather than the bedroom.
Check that all AGS Tech guy-lines are properly tensioned and that all ground pegs are secure. Re-adjust the angle of the poles if they have shifted.
To pitch the tent effectively, it is recommended to have two people work together due to the size and weight of the flysheet. Lay out the footprint, assemble the angled fibreglass poles, and thread them through the sleeves before tensioning. Ensure all pegs are driven at a 45-degree angle away from the tent for maximum stability. For care, always ensure the tent is completely dry before packing it away in the oversized carry bag to prevent mildew growth. If the tent becomes dirty, wipe it down with a damp cloth; avoid harsh detergents that could strip the waterproof coating. Store in a cool, dry environment when not in use.
