Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up your wall troughs, first ensure you have appropriate wall mounting screws and wall plugs suitable for your chosen mounting surface. Position the trough at the desired height and mark the screw locations. Securely fasten the trough to the wall or fence. Once mounted, gently fill the coconut fiber liner with potting soil and plant your chosen flowers or plants. Ensure the mounting is stable enough to support the weight of the trough filled with soil and plants.
Compatibility: These troughs are compatible with most standard wall and fence surfaces, provided you use the correct fixings. They are designed for outdoor and indoor use where wall mounting is feasible. They are not suitable for free-standing use.
Care: To maintain the troughs, regularly check the mounting screws for tightness. The steel frame can be wiped clean with a damp cloth if necessary. The coconut fiber liner should be kept moist for optimal plant health. Depending on the climate and plant type, the liner may need to be replaced annually or bi-annually to ensure continued aeration and drainage. Remove old soil and debris before replacing the liner.
