Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the tool, begin by selecting either the two-jaw or three-jaw configuration based on the geometry of the component you are pulling. Secure the jaws firmly behind the gear or bearing, ensuring the center bolt is aligned with the shaft axis.
Compatibility: This puller is compatible with most standard gear and bearing dimensions up to 180 mm in diameter.
Maintenance: To maintain the longevity of your hydraulic puller, keep the hydraulic cylinder free of debris and store it in a clean, dry environment. Periodically check the hydraulic fluid levels and seals. If the movement feels gritty or stiff, inspect the threads of the center bolt for metal shavings and apply a light coat of industrial-grade lubricant.
