Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The pipe cutter comes ready for use. Ensure the cutting wheel is properly seated and aligned. To adjust for different pipe diameters, rotate the cutting knob to open the jaws wide enough to fit around the pipe, then tighten the knob until the wheel makes firm contact with the tubing.
Compatibility: This tool is designed for cutting copper, brass, aluminum, thin-wall steel, and plastic tubing with diameters between 3mm and 35mm (1/8" to 1-3/8") and a wall thickness up to 3mm. It is not suitable for glass, ceramic, or other brittle materials, nor for pressure-sensitive tubing.
Care: After each use, clean the cutting wheel and blade mechanism with a dry cloth to remove any debris. Store the pipe cutter in a dry place to prevent corrosion. Periodically check the cutting wheel for wear and replace it if dull or damaged using the provided replacement wheels. Keep the reamer clean and free of obstructions.
