FAQs

Does this product come with a lampshade?

No, the product is a lampholder only. You must purchase a shade separately to complete the look.

Can I use this in a bathroom?

This light is generally designed for indoor living areas. Please check the IP rating of your intended shade to see if it is suitable for bathroom use.

What type of bulb does it take?

It typically uses a standard E27 or B22 fitting bulb; please check the specific base on your unit upon arrival.

Is the height adjustable after installation?

Yes, but it is much easier to adjust the height during the initial installation process before the fixture is fully wired to the ceiling.

How do I ensure the shade stays secure?

The fitting includes threaded rings that screw on to lock the lampshade in place against the gallery.

Troubleshooting

The light is flickering

Check that the bulb is screwed in firmly and that the wires in the ceiling rose are securely connected.

The pendant is not hanging straight

Adjust the cable tension at the ceiling rose or allow the weight of the shade to straighten the cord over a period of 24 hours.

The light does not turn on

Verify that the bulb is functional and check your circuit breaker or wall switch for any tripped fuses.

Gold finish may require occasional wiping to maintain its shine

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation should always be performed by a qualified electrician or someone comfortable with household wiring to ensure safety.

Ensure the power is turned off at the mains before beginning.
Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling joist.
Adjust the cable to your desired drop length before locking it in place.
Connect the wiring to the ceiling rose terminals.
Attach your chosen shade using the provided securing rings.

To keep the gold finish looking its best, avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges. Instead, gently dust the fixture with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. If fingerprints appear on the gold metal, a slightly damp cloth should suffice.
