This is a robust plant that can withstand very cold temperatures and frost. It will flourish in both exposed and secluded spots and requires little nurturing. Bergenia Bressingham is tolerant of poor soil but thrives in soil rich in organic nutrients and grows best in a moist environment with excellent drainage.
