FAQs

Is this resin suitable for structural load-bearing projects?

No, this product is specifically for non-safety critical fixing applications.

Can I use this with a standard silicone sealant gun?

No, you must use an applicator gun specifically designed for 410ml side-by-side resin cartridges.

Does the resin come with a nozzle?

Yes, the product includes a mixing nozzle for immediate use.

Is the resin safe to use indoors?

Yes, it features a low-odour formula suitable for poorly ventilated environments.

How do I handle hollow masonry?

You must use a mesh sleeve to ensure the resin remains in place and forms a proper anchor.

Can this be used for overhead installations?

While it is versatile, ensure the hole is properly cleaned and the resin is fully supported during the curing process.

Troubleshooting

Resin is not curing properly

Ensure the surface is dry and free of oil or dust; check the shelf life of the cartridge.

Resin colour is streaky after mixing

Discard the first few pumps of the nozzle until the output colour is uniform.

Difficulty extruding the resin

Check if the nozzle is blocked or if the ambient temperature is too low; warm the cartridge slightly if cold.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Efficient mixing system reduces waste
Suitable for indoor use due to low odour
Easy to dispense with minimal extrusion force
Fire-rated for added security
Ideal for a wide range of general-purpose tasks

Cons

Not intended for safety-critical structural loads
Requires a compatible 410ml resin applicator gun
Solid and hollow materials require different preparation methods

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin, ensure you have a standard 410ml resin applicator gun. Before application, the hole must be completely free of dust and debris for the bond to set correctly. Once the nozzle is attached, dispense the first few millimetres of resin onto a scrap surface until you see a uniform colour; this ensures the two components are mixed properly. Store the cartridge in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight, and always replace the cap or use a fresh nozzle if the resin will be stored for later use.
