Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the surface you intend to cover is clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any grease, dust, or old adhesive.
- Measure and cut the vinyl wrap to the desired size, allowing a small overlap if necessary.
- Carefully peel back a small section of the backing paper from one edge.
- Align the vinyl with the edge of the surface and begin to apply, smoothing out bubbles as you go with a squeegee or cloth.
- If you make a mistake, gently peel back the vinyl and re-apply. For stubborn bubbles, you can prick them with a fine needle.
- Trim any excess vinyl with a sharp craft knife.
Compatibility:
This vinyl wrap is compatible with most smooth, non-porous surfaces including wood, metal, glass, and laminate. It is not recommended for rough, textured, or uneven surfaces where adhesion may be compromised.
Care:
To clean, simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish. Ensure wet areas, such as around sinks and hobs, are properly sealed with silicone sealant to prevent moisture from seeping underneath the vinyl.
