Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unroll the screening carefully, ensuring it does not snag or tear.
- Position the roll against the existing structure (fence, wall, or frame) where you want to add screening.
- Secure the screening using cable ties, garden staples, or wire. Space fixings approximately every 30-50 cm along the top, middle, and bottom for a taut finish.
- For custom sizes, the roll can be cut using sharp shears or a fine-toothed saw. Ensure cut edges are tidy.
Compatibility:
This screening is compatible with most standard garden fencing, railings, walls, and existing fence posts. It can be attached to wood, metal, or brick structures. For best results, ensure the structure it's attached to is stable.
Care:
- Cleaning: Gently brush off loose dirt or debris. For tougher marks, use a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or pressure washing.
- Maintenance: To prolong its life, consider applying a garden-safe wood preserver or sealant, especially in damp climates or if the screening is in constant contact with soil.
- Seasonality: While durable, natural willow can degrade over extended periods of exposure. Periodic inspection and minor repairs can maintain its appearance and integrity.
