This 1.5 kg machinist cross pein hammer features a fibreglass handle and a square bevelled face with an angular cross pein. It is commonly used in metalworking and sometimes referred to as a blacksmith hammer or riveting hammer. The handle is engineered from a material containing over 60% fibreglass, ensuring strength and sturdiness, with a non-slip finish for improved grip. The hammer employs a patented method for securely fixing the head to the handle, enhancing strength in high-stress areas. It weighs 1.5 Kgs and has a length of 370mm (14 3/4"). The drop forged head is hardened to HRC 50-58.
