The Caleffi 533 Series is designed for hot and cold water services in homes and flats. It balances hot or cold water supply, or both, and protects against excessive pressure at outlets like taps and showers. The valve features a specially designed diaphragm for precise pressure adjustment in response to variations in downstream pressure. A larger outlet chamber with low departure velocity effectively reduces water noise. The control stem housing of the cartridge is made from a plastic material with a low coefficient of adhesion, reducing the likelihood of scale deposits, a common cause of pressure reducing valve malfunction. The cartridge and strainer screen are easily removable for cleaning and maintenance. Valves for copper tube have compression ends complying with BS EN 1254-2.
