The VEVOR Pergola Kit is designed for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts looking to construct robust, sloped-roof outdoor structures such as gazebos, pergolas, or sheds. Its primary benefit is providing structural reliability through high-strength carbon steel brackets, ensuring your wooden frame remains stable against strong winds and environmental elements. Please note that while the brackets are universal for standard posts, you must ensure your timber measures exactly 3.5 x 3.5 inches to achieve a proper, snug fit for the hardware.

Yes, but they are specifically engineered for actual dimensions of 3.5 x 3.5 inches, which corresponds to standard dimensional 4x4 lumber.
They feature a weather-resistant powder coating that protects against corrosion, though regular inspection is recommended for long-term outdoor exposure.
The kit includes 304 stainless steel expansion bolts for anchoring; please ensure you have the appropriate fasteners for securing the wood to the brackets themselves.
The total weight of the VEVOR SSAC8 kit is 29.76 lbs (13.5 kg).
This kit is specifically designed for sloped-roof applications to provide the correct geometric support.
You will need a drill with masonry bits for the expansion bolts, a socket wrench, and a level to ensure structural alignment.
Verify that your lumber is exactly 3.5 x 3.5 inches. If the wood is slightly swollen due to moisture, allow it to dry before installation.
Check that your lumber has not shrunk; consider using structural shims to tighten the connection if necessary.
Ensure the hole drilled into the concrete is the correct diameter and free of excess dust or debris, which can interfere with the anchor expansion.
For optimal setup, ensure your base posts are exactly 3.5 x 3.5 inches. Use a rubber mallet to gently tap the posts into the brackets if the fit is snug. When installing the expansion bolts, use a drill bit consistent with the manufacturer's anchor size to ensure the bolt expands fully for maximum tension. Maintenance is minimal: periodically check the bolts for tightness after extreme weather events, and inspect the powder coating for scratches. If deep scratches occur, apply a touch-up enamel paint specifically designed for metal to prevent localized rust.
