Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before installation, verify that your engine block requires the M14 x 1.25 thread dimension and an 11.2 mm thread length.
- Ensure the engine is completely cool before removing the old spark plug to prevent thread damage.
- Clean the area around the spark plug port to prevent debris from entering the combustion chamber.
- Thread the plug by hand initially to ensure proper alignment and avoid cross-threading.
- Use a torque wrench to tighten to the manufacturer's specified foot-pounds, ensuring the plug is properly seated.
- Inspect the electrode periodically for carbon buildup; if fouled, replace the plug to maintain engine efficiency.
