US PRO Tools M14 x 1.5mm Thread Taper & Plug Set - 2658

A taper tap is designed to start the thread, while a plug tap is used to finish the thread and ensure a consistent cut.

Use a cutting oil specifically designed for tapping. This will help reduce friction and improve the quality of the threads.

This set can be used on a variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, and cast iron. However, the performance may vary depending on the material.

Store the taps in the provided plastic storage case to protect them from damage and ensure they are easily accessible.

Try to back the tap out carefully, using a tap wrench. If it's difficult, apply more cutting oil and try again. Avoid forcing the tap.

The plastic storage case is designed to protect the taps from damage, keep them organized, and make them easily portable.

Ensure the tap is aligned correctly with the hole. Apply even pressure and avoid excessive force. Use cutting oil to reduce friction.

Make sure the tap is the correct size for the application. Check for any obstructions in the hole. Ensure the tap is cutting straight and not at an angle.
