Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best results, always pre-wash this cotton poplin before cutting to account for any potential initial shrinkage. Use a universal sharp needle, size 70/10 or 80/12, to maintain the clean finish of the weave. When sewing, use a standard stitch length between 2.0mm and 2.5mm. Pressing is vital for this fabric; use a steam iron on the 'cotton' setting to eliminate wrinkles and set seams flat. For long-term care, machine wash in cool water with similar colors and tumble dry on a low setting, or hang to dry to preserve the depth of the red dye.
