FAQs

What is the primary material of the Sojag Moreno gazebo frame?

The frame is constructed from extruded aluminum, which is rustproof and enhanced with a protective powder coating.

Can I use curtains and mosquito netting at the same time?

Yes, the innovative Double Track system allows for the simultaneous use of both mosquito netting and curtains.

How do I clean the gazebo?

Clean the aluminum frame and powder coating with mild soap and water using a soft cloth. The roof panels can be wiped down, and the netting with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

Is assembly difficult?

Assembly is made easier with illustrated, step-by-step instructions. However, due to its size, it is recommended to have at least two people for the process.

What are the dimensions of the gazebo?

The gazebo measures approximately 2.83 meters in height, 2.98 meters in width, and 3.63 meters in depth.

What is the warranty period?

The Sojag Moreno gazebo comes with a 1-year manufacturer guarantee. Robert Dyas also provides a 12-month guarantee.

Is the gazebo suitable for year-round use?

Yes, it is designed for year-round protection. However, it's advisable to remove heavy snow accumulation from the roof during winter to prevent structural stress.

Troubleshooting

Gazebo wobbles or feels unstable

Ensure all bolts and screws are tightened securely. Verify that the gazebo is erected on a level surface. Check that the corner posts are firmly anchored.

Mosquito netting is difficult to slide

Check the track for any obstructions, debris, or bent sections. Gently try to straighten any minor bends in the track. Ensure the netting is properly attached to the sliders.

Visible scratches on the powder coating

Minor scratches can sometimes be touched up with specialized outdoor metal paint. For significant damage, consult the manufacturer for repair advice or replacement parts.

Water pooling on the roof

Ensure the roof panels are installed correctly and the structure is level, allowing for proper water runoff. Check for any sagging in the roof panels, which might indicate an installation issue or damage.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

Assembly of the Sojag Moreno gazebo is facilitated by illustrated, step-by-step instructions. It is recommended to have at least two people for assembly due to the size and weight of the components. Ensure you have a clear, level surface area to erect the gazebo. All hardware, including stainless steel bolts and screws, is designed for rust prevention and maximum stability. Prior to assembly, identify all parts and hardware to ensure nothing is missing.

Compatibility:

This gazebo is designed as a standalone outdoor structure. It is compatible with most standard outdoor furniture. The Double Track system allows for the addition of curtains (often sold separately) alongside the included mosquito netting for enhanced versatility.

Care:

To maintain the gazebo's appearance and functionality:

  1. Cleaning: The aluminum frame and powder coating can be cleaned with a mild soap and water solution. Use a soft cloth or sponge to wipe down surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
  2. Roof Panels: Gently brush off any accumulated debris from the galvanized steel roof panels. If necessary, use a damp cloth for cleaning.
  3. Netting and Curtains: The PVC-coated polyester netting can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, follow specific care instructions for the material, typically mild soap and water.
  4. Hardware: Periodically check bolts and screws for tightness, ensuring the structure remains stable. The stainless steel hardware is rustproof, requiring minimal maintenance.
  5. Winter Storage: While designed for year-round use, consider removing heavy snow accumulation to prevent excessive weight on the roof. If storing curtains, ensure they are clean and dry before putting them away.
