Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maximize the life of your seeds, fill each envelope only to the point where the flap can close comfortably without excessive tension. Once sealed, place the envelopes in a cool, dark, and dry environment, such as a basement or a pantry shelf. Avoid storing these envelopes in areas subject to temperature swings, such as near windows or heaters, as fluctuations can trigger premature germination or degradation. When it is time to use your seeds, the glassine paper is sturdy enough to be handled repeatedly, but if the envelope becomes damaged, it can be easily disposed of in your garden compost bin.
