The Downland Luxury Cloud 5cm Mattress Topper is designed for individuals seeking to enhance the comfort of an aging or overly firm mattress without the cost of a full replacement. It provides a significant boost in plush, cushioned support, helping to relieve pressure on the back, neck, and hips for a hotel-like sleeping experience. While it excels at adding volume and softness, users should note that as a 5cm topper, it primarily serves to soften the surface and may not fully correct a mattress that has lost its structural integrity or has deep sagging issues.

No, the topper features a breathable microfibre cover and hollowfibre fill designed to promote air circulation and maintain a comfortable temperature.
Yes, provided your machine has enough drum capacity for the size of the topper. Always check your machine's weight limits before attempting to wash.
Yes, the materials used are hypoallergenic, making them a great choice for individuals with common allergies.
The topper comes with an integrated, soft-touch microfibre cover as part of its construction.
This topper is designed to add comfort and cushioning. While it can improve the feel of a worn mattress, it cannot provide structural support for a mattress that has deep, permanent sagging.
It is recommended to wash the topper as needed, typically every few months, to maintain hygiene. Using a mattress protector on top can significantly reduce the frequency of washes required.
Gently shake and fluff the topper to help the hollowfibre fill distribute evenly, then allow it to expand for 24 hours.
Ensure all four elasticated straps are firmly tucked under the corners of your mattress. If the mattress is very deep, ensure the straps are fully extended.
Setting up your topper is straightforward: remove it from its packaging and allow it to expand for a few hours to reach its full loft. Position the topper centrally on your mattress and secure each of the four corner straps under the base of the mattress to ensure a snug fit. This topper is compatible with most standard mattress types, including inner-spring and foam bases. For care, keep the topper clean by using a mattress protector over it. When it requires washing, ensure your washing machine has enough capacity to handle the topper without force. Use a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and dry thoroughly, preferably air-drying to preserve the hollowfibre fill loft.
