FAQs
What does a triple lever mechanism do?
It allows you to independently adjust the seat height, the seat tilt angle, and the backrest tilt angle, giving you full control over your ergonomic posture.
Can I remove the armrests?
The armrests are a structural component of the chair, but they are fully adjustable to tuck under most desks if you prefer them out of the way.
How do I adjust the seat depth?
Use the seat slide lever, typically located under the seat, to push the cushion forward or backward until you have two to three fingers of space between the edge of the seat and the back of your knees.
Is the chair suitable for hardwood floors?
Yes, but for optimal protection, we recommend using a chair mat to prevent the casters from scratching wood surfaces over time.
How do I clean the detailed stitching?
Use a soft-bristled brush or the upholstery attachment on a vacuum to gently remove debris from the stitching channels.
Troubleshooting
Backrest height does not lock into place
Lift the backrest to the highest point to release the ratchet mechanism, then lower it slowly to the desired position until it clicks.
Chair feels unstable when reclining
Ensure the tension control knob under the seat is tightened sufficiently to match your body weight, and verify all base bolts are securely fastened.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To assemble your Barcelona Deluxe, ensure all bolts are hand-tightened before using the included Allen key to secure them firmly. The chair is compatible with most standard desk heights. For ongoing care, vacuum the upholstery regularly to remove dust. If you encounter spills, clean immediately using a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water; avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may damage the fabric or stitching. Periodically check the bolts every six months to ensure they remain tightened.
