Product Information

Full details

The Savage Gear Zipper Wallet 2 is an ideal storage solution for anglers looking to keep their pre-rigged lures organized and protected while on the move. Crafted from rugged 600 Denier fabric with a protective 6mm foam lining, this compact wallet prevents hook tangles and damage during transport. While it is perfect for small-to-medium lure collections, users should note that the wallet's 17x11cm dimensions limit its capacity for very large or heavy-duty saltwater lures.

Can I fit larger lures in this wallet?

The wallet is designed for smaller gear; lures exceeding the 17x11cm dimensions will not fit properly.

Is the material waterproof?

The 600 Denier fabric is water-resistant, but the wallet is not designed to be submerged in water.

Does it work with treble hooks?

Yes, the PVC dividers and internal design are specifically intended to house lures with both single and treble hooks.

What are the exact dimensions?

The Savage Gear Zipper Wallet 2 measures 17cm by 11cm.

Troubleshooting

Zippers feel stiff or sticky

Clean the zipper teeth with a soft brush to remove sand and grit, then apply a light, non-greasy silicone lubricant.

Hook points are tearing the foam interior

Avoid pushing the hook barbs completely through the foam; only seat the point shallowly to minimize damage.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Highly durable outer material
Excellent interior protection for sensitive hooks
Compact and lightweight for mobile fishing
Easy-to-operate oversized zippers

Cons

Limited capacity due to 17x11cm size
Not suitable for very large lures
Does not include lures (sold separately)

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To maximize the life of your wallet, organize your lures by size and hook type before placing them into the slots. When using the internal foam wall, push the hook points gently into the foam to secure the lure; avoid jamming them too deep to prevent foam degradation over time.

Care Instructions:

Rinse the exterior with fresh water after saltwater use to prevent zipper corrosion.
Allow the wallet to air dry completely in a shaded area before closing it for storage to prevent mold or moisture buildup on your hooks.
Avoid using harsh detergents; a soft brush and mild soap are sufficient for cleaning the 600 Denier fabric.
