The Elitech WJL-6000SUV is a professional-grade diagnostic tool tailored for HVAC technicians and mechanics tasked with servicing refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump systems. Its primary benefit is the combination of highly sensitive halogen detection with an integrated UV light, which allows users to accurately pinpoint leaks in dark or cramped environments with a response time of under 3 seconds. While the device is remarkably precise, users should note that it requires a brief warm-up period of 6 seconds before every use to ensure sensor calibration.

Yes, the WJL-6000SUV is fully compatible with R410A and other halogenated refrigerants.
The device performs an automatic 6-second calibration every time you turn it on.
The device is intended for dry environments; keep it away from moisture to prevent damage to the electronics.
It is capable of detecting leaks as small as 7g/year.
The sensor tip is durable but should be kept clean and away from contaminants to maintain accuracy over time.
The device features a dedicated low battery warning indicator on the interface.
Verify that the sensitivity setting is high enough for the leak size and ensure the sensor tip is clean.
The sensitivity may be set too high; adjust to a lower setting or move to an area with cleaner air to reset.
Check the battery contacts and replace with fresh batteries.
To begin, install the required batteries and power on the unit, allowing it to complete its 6-second automatic calibration. The WJL-6000SUV is compatible with all halogenated refrigerants (HFCs, HCFCs, CFCs).
