The PGYTECH CapLock Action Camera Suction Cup Mount is designed for photographers and videographers who need a secure, flexible way to mount action cameras or small accessories to smooth surfaces like glass, metal, or car hoods. Featuring a versatile dual-ball head for precise 360-degree positioning and a robust, foldable design, it offers professional-grade stability in a portable package, though users should ensure the mounting surface is thoroughly cleaned to maintain optimal suction strength.

The mount works best on smooth, non-porous surfaces like glass. It will likely not hold on textured or porous dashboard plastics.
Yes, the mount includes a 1/4-inch adapter, making it compatible with most cameras and accessories that feature a standard tripod thread.
Keep the silicone base clean and free of debris. If it loses suction, wipe it down with a slightly damp cloth to restore tackiness.
While the materials (ABS, Silicone, TPU) are durable and water-resistant, you should wipe the mount dry after exposure to moisture to keep the mechanism functioning smoothly.
This mount is designed primarily for action cameras and lightweight compact cameras; it is not recommended for heavy DSLRs or large lenses.
Clean both the suction cup and the mounting surface with a damp cloth to remove dust and oils that prevent a vacuum seal.
Ensure the dual-ball head tension knobs are fully tightened to lock the position in place.
Check that the CapLock mechanism is properly aligned and that you are using the correct adapter (1/4-inch or action mount) for your specific device.
Setup is straightforward: identify a smooth, clean surface, place the suction cup in the center, and engage the locking lever. Use the provided 1/4-inch adapter for standard point-and-shoots or the dedicated action camera mount for devices like GoPros. To care for your mount, periodically clean the silicone suction cup with a damp cloth to remove dust or lint that might compromise the seal. Always ensure the device is completely dry before storing it in its folded position to preserve the longevity of the materials.
