FAQs

Is this coat machine washable?

Yes, it is generally machine washable on a gentle, cool cycle. Always consult the care label sewn into the inner garment for the most accurate instructions.

Does it provide enough warmth for winter?

This coat is designed as a mid-layer for autumn or spring. In deep winter, it is best worn with additional thermal layers underneath.

Is the hood detachable?

The Braemar Luxe design features a funnel neck rather than a hood.

What is the material composition?

The coat is crafted from high-quality polyester, chosen for its durability and resistance to the elements.

Can I adjust the waist?

Yes, the coat includes an adjustable back belt that allows you to cinch the waist for a more tailored fit.

Troubleshooting

Water soaking through the fabric

The showerproof coating may be wearing off; re-treat the exterior with a specialized water-repellent spray.

Popper buttons are difficult to fasten

Ensure no fabric is bunched behind the popper and check for debris; gently press in the center of the stud to snap it closed.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep your coat in optimal condition, adhere to the following guidelines:

Cleaning: Always check the internal care label. Use a gentle, cool machine wash cycle with mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners which can compromise the showerproof coating.
Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the polyester from losing its shape or degrading the quilted pattern.
Storage: Store the coat on a sturdy hanger to maintain the structure of the shoulders and the alignment of the back belt.
Maintenance: If the coat loses its water repellency over time, consider applying a garment-safe water-repellent spray specifically designed for polyester outerwear.
