The Lunderg Under Mattress Bed Alarm Pad is designed for caregivers and family members looking to monitor loved ones who are at risk of falling or wandering. Its primary benefit is providing an early-alert system that detects movement before the individual actually leaves the bed, promoting safety without disturbing the user's sleep. Please note that this is a replacement or secondary sensor pad only; it requires a compatible Lunderg monitor to function as it does not include an independent pager.

No, this is a replacement sensor pad only. You must already own a Lunderg Under Mattress Bed Alarm monitor to use this product.
No, this pad is specifically designed to be compatible only with the Lunderg Under Mattress Bed Alarm system.
No, the pad is designed to be placed underneath the mattress, ensuring it is completely undetectable to the person lying on the bed.
The sensor pad can communicate wirelessly with the Lunderg monitor at a distance of up to 300 feet.
While it is durable, it is not fully submersible. Clean it with a damp cloth; do not soak or submerge the unit in water.
Ensure the pad is correctly positioned under the user's torso and check that the wireless connection to the monitor is active and within 300 feet.
Re-position the pad slightly to ensure it is on a flat surface and not catching on bed frame slats or springs that might cause false pressure changes.
Remove potential physical obstructions like thick concrete walls or large metal objects between the sensor pad and the monitor.
To install, slide the sensor pad under the mattress, ensuring it is positioned in the area where the user's upper body typically rests. Once placed, sync the pad with your existing Lunderg monitor following the instructions provided in your original monitor's manual. To ensure optimal performance, keep the sensor away from extreme heat sources. If the pad becomes soiled, wipe it down gently with a soft, damp cloth and mild disinfectant; avoid submerging the unit in water or using harsh chemicals that could damage the sensitive internal pressure sensors.
