FAQs
Is this kit suitable for carbon fiber bikes?
Yes, the Muc-Off cleaning products in this kit are formulated to be safe for use on all types of bicycle frames, including carbon fiber.
How much Nano Tech Bike Cleaner is included?
The kit includes a 1-liter bottle of Muc-Off Nano Tech Bike Cleaner with a foaming trigger.
Can I store other brands' products in the valet bag?
While designed for Muc-Off products, the valet bag's compartments can accommodate similar-sized bottles and accessories from other brands.
What is the primary purpose of the Bike Protect spray?
Bike Protect is designed to be sprayed on after washing. It displaces moisture, reduces dirt adhesion, and leaves a non-sticky protective film, making future cleaning easier and protecting components.
How often should I use the Drivetrain Cleaner?
The Drivetrain Cleaner is a degreaser and is best used when your chain and gears have accumulated significant grime or old lubricant, typically during a deep clean rather than after every ride.
Does the kit include everything needed for a basic wash?
The kit provides essential cleaning agents, brushes, and a cloth for a thorough wash. However, you will need a water source (hose or bucket) and potentially a separate water bucket for rinsing.
What are the dimensions of the Valet Bag?
Specific dimensions are not provided, but the bag is designed to be compact for portability while holding the included items.
Troubleshooting
Cleaning product won't spray effectively
Ensure the trigger mechanism on the Nano Tech Bike Cleaner bottle is properly attached and not blocked. Check if the nozzle is clear of debris.
Valet bag contents are disorganized
Utilize the internal mesh pockets and elasticated loops as intended. Ensure smaller bottles are placed in the designated mini mesh pockets.
Bike still appears dirty after cleaning
Ensure sufficient product was used and allow adequate dwell time for the cleaners to work. Use the appropriate brushes for stubborn grime on specific areas like the drivetrain and wheels.
All-Weather Lube is too thick or thin
Lubricant viscosity can be affected by temperature. Store the lube at room temperature. Apply sparingly to a clean, dry chain for best results.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup: The Muc-Off Bicycle Mega Valet Kit requires no complex setup. The valet bag is ready for immediate use. Simply place the included cleaning bottles and accessories into their designated compartments. The internal mesh pockets are ideal for holding the cleaning bottles upright, while elasticated loops secure brushes and cloths.
Compatibility: The cleaning products within the kit are compatible with virtually all bicycle types, including mountain bikes, road bikes, gravel bikes, and e-bikes. They are formulated to be safe on frame materials, components, and drivetrains. The valet bag itself is a universal storage solution for these types of cycling care products.
Care:
- Valet Bag: To clean the bag, wipe it down with a damp cloth. For tougher dirt, use mild soap and water, then allow it to air dry completely. Avoid machine washing or harsh detergents.
- Cleaning Products: Follow the specific instructions on each individual Muc-Off product for application and usage. Ensure bottles are securely closed after use to prevent leaks within the bag.
- Brushes & Cloth: Rinse brushes thoroughly after use to remove debris. Machine wash the microfibre cloth separately with a dedicated microfibre cleaner or mild detergent, and air dry to maintain its effectiveness. Do not use fabric softener, as it can clog the fibres.
