Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
The cat house is designed for straightforward assembly. Typically, this involves connecting pre-fabricated wooden panels and securing them with provided hardware. Ensure all connections are tight before use. Refer to the included instruction manual for detailed steps.
Compatibility:
This cat house is suitable for most domestic cats. Its size is optimized for a single cat or potentially two smaller cats. It is intended for outdoor use and can be placed on various surfaces such as grass, patios, or decks. The powder-coated iron wire mesh offers some ventilation and visibility while keeping the cat secure.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the wooden surfaces with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners. The fabric roof can be spot-cleaned.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the wooden frame for any signs of wear or damage. Applying a pet-safe wood sealant can help prolong its life, especially in very wet climates.
- Placement: While weather-resistant, prolonged exposure to extreme elements may shorten the lifespan of the materials. Consider placement under eaves or partial shelter for added protection.
