Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Begin by positioning the furniture piece or wooden top upside down on a protected surface. Align each hairpin leg with the desired placement, ensuring it is square to the edges. Use the included screws to attach the legs through the pre-drilled holes in the leg plates. Tighten screws firmly but avoid over-tightening, which could strip the wood.
Compatibility: These legs are designed for flat surfaces such as solid wood, plywood, or MDF. Ensure the surface is thick enough to securely hold the screws. They are compatible with a wide range of DIY furniture projects, including tables, benches, ottomans, and shelving units.
Care: To maintain the finish, wipe the legs clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the metal and coating. For outdoor use or in humid environments, periodic checks for rust or corrosion may be advisable.
