Setup, Compatibility & Care
To prepare the planter, place a layer of gravel or expanded clay pebbles at the bottom to ensure the `drainage-hole` does not become blocked by dense potting mix. Use a high-quality, free-draining compost to promote healthy root growth. For care, keep the planter clean by wiping it down with a damp cloth if dust or mud accumulates on the embossed design. During extreme winter conditions, ensure the pot is slightly elevated using "pot feet" to allow water to drain freely, which prevents the base from sitting in ice and protects your patio surfaces.
