The vidaXL Outdoor Shower is an ideal solution for homeowners, swimmers, and gardeners looking for a convenient way to rinse off outdoors. Featuring a stylish blend of solid acacia wood and durable stainless steel, it adds a touch of luxury to your patio or pool area while providing a refreshing showering experience. While it is built to be weatherproof, users should note that consistent exposure to the elements may impact the wood finish, so using an outdoor cover is recommended for long-term maintenance.

FAQs
Does this shower provide hot water?
No, this shower connects directly to a garden hose, so the water temperature depends entirely on the supply water temperature.
Can I leave this outside in the winter?
It is recommended to drain the system and store it in a sheltered area during freezing temperatures to prevent damage.
What size hose fitting is required?
The shower requires a standard G 1/2 inch (21 mm diameter) garden hose connection.
Is the shower head adjustable?
Yes, the shower head is rotatable, and the overall height of the shower pipe is adjustable between 215 and 219 cm.
Do I need to treat the wood?
Yes, applying a suitable wood oil or sealant annually will help maintain the acacia wood's appearance and weather resistance.
Troubleshooting
Low water pressure
Check the garden hose for kinks or blockages and ensure the tap is fully opened.
Leaking at the hose connection
Verify that the rubber washer is properly seated inside the hose connector and tighten the connection.
Water not spraying from the head
Check the shower head for mineral buildup or debris and clean the nozzles if necessary.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Durable materials combine wood and stainless steel
- Adjustable height and rotatable head for personalized comfort
- Easy installation with standard garden hose fittings
- Sophisticated design that enhances outdoor decor
Cons
- Requires regular wood maintenance to prevent weathering
- Outdoor cover not included despite being recommended
- No built-in temperature mixing valve (relies on hose water temp)
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation is straightforward as the unit connects to any standard G 1/2 inch (21 mm) diameter garden hose. Ensure the surface is flat to prevent wobbling. For long-term care, the acacia wood should be treated with a wood preservative or oil periodically to maintain its color and prevent splitting. When the shower is not in use for extended periods—such as during winter months—it should be disconnected, drained of all water to prevent freezing damage, and stored in a sheltered area or covered with a high-quality outdoor cover.
