TIMCO FlexiFire HP is an ultra thin and flexible graphite-based intumescent material cut to suit a wide range of hinges. It offers an expansion ratio in excess of 6 times its original volume, is safe to handle and easy to use with no PPE required. Suitable for 30 & 60 minute timber applications, it provides excellent temperature insulation before and after exfoliation. It is completely non-toxic and non-fibrous, unaffected by moisture, humidity, and atmospheric pollution. When heated to approximately 180°C, the graphite at the surface begins to exfoliate.
