Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
To begin using your Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Pressed Powder:
- Open the Compact: Gently lift the lid of the travel-sized compact.
- Select Your Tool: For light setting and all-over diffusion, use a fluffy powder brush. For targeted shine control or a more perfected finish, a denser brush or a puff/sponge can be used.
- Application: Swirl your chosen tool lightly into the powder. Tap off any excess product.
- Apply to Face: Gently press or sweep the powder over areas where you want to set makeup, control shine, or blur imperfections. Common areas include the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) and under the eyes.
Compatibility
This translucent pressed powder is designed to be highly compatible with various makeup products and skin types:
- Foundations & Concealers: Works seamlessly over liquid, cream, or stick foundations and concealers without disturbing them.
- Skin Types: The non-drying, talc-free formula is suitable for all skin types, including oily, combination, and mature skin, as it won't settle into fine lines.
- Color Matching: Being translucent, it is universally compatible with all skin tones, providing a sheer finish without adding color.
Care
Proper care will ensure the longevity and hygiene of your pressed powder:
- Keep Compact Closed: Always ensure the compact is securely closed after each use to prevent the powder from drying out, cracking, or collecting debris.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Avoid Dropping: Pressed powders are delicate. Handle the compact with care to prevent the powder pan from cracking or shattering.
- Clean Applicators: If using a brush or sponge, regularly clean your applicators to prevent bacterial buildup and ensure smooth application. Info needed: [Does it come with an applicator?]
- Clean Compact Exterior: Occasionally wipe the exterior of the compact with a soft, damp cloth to keep it clean.
