Pros and Cons
Pros
- Sophisticated gold finish adds a premium look
- Extremely lightweight design prevents branch bending
- Includes durable twine for quick hanging
- Compact size works well in clusters or as a standalone accent
Cons
- Small size might get lost on very large, wide trees
- Metallic finish may be prone to scratching if stored improperly
- Designed primarily for indoor use only
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the ornament, simply thread the provided twine loop over a secure branch tip. For optimal longevity, handle the piece by the edges to avoid transferring oils from your skin onto the gold finish. When the season concludes, store the hummingbird in a padded container or its original packaging to prevent the intricate wings or beak from bending. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners; if dusty, gently wipe the surface with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.
