Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before initial use, wash the pot with warm, soapy water to remove any manufacturing residue. When cooking over an open fire, ensure the tripod or ground is level to prevent spills. While the enamel finish is rust-resistant, avoid using metal utensils that might scratch the surface; silicone or wooden spoons are recommended. After cooking, allow the pot to cool completely before cleaning—plunging a hot pot into cold water can cause the enamel to crack. Hand wash the interior and exterior with a soft sponge, then dry thoroughly to maintain its longevity.
