Royal Canin Canine Urinary S/O in Gravy is a specialized, veterinary-exclusive wet diet formulated for adult dogs suffering from lower urinary tract conditions. It provides the essential benefit of dissolving struvite stones while actively working to prevent the recurrence of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. While it is a highly effective clinical tool, it must only be used under the direct guidance and prescription of a veterinarian to ensure it matches the dog's specific medical requirements.

Yes, Royal Canin Urinary S/O is a veterinary-exclusive diet and requires authorization from your veterinarian.
No, this formula is specifically designed for adult dogs and does not meet the nutritional requirements for growing puppies.
The duration depends on your dog's specific condition and response to the diet. Your veterinarian will determine the length of time based on follow-up tests.
Generally, you should avoid treats as they can disrupt the strict urinary parameters. Ask your vet for a list of approved treats if necessary.
RSS stands for Relative Super Saturation; it is a scientific method used to predict the ability of urine to form crystals based on the concentration of minerals.
Try warming the gravy slightly or mixing in a small amount of warm water, or consult your vet for a slow, 10-day transition period.
Slow down the transition process and ensure you are strictly avoiding other treats or table scraps that may interfere with the diet's effect.
When starting your dog on Royal Canin Urinary S/O, follow the transition plan recommended by your veterinarian to avoid digestive upset, typically by mixing it with the previous food over 5-7 days. This product is compatible with adult dogs but is not intended for growth (puppies), gestation, or lactation. Store unopened pouches in a cool, dry place. Once opened, any unused portion should be refrigerated and consumed within 24-48 hours. Always monitor your dog’s weight and overall condition, and return for scheduled follow-up appointments so your veterinarian can monitor urine pH and sediment levels.
