This Ultratape Rhino General Purpose Masking Tape is designed for DIY enthusiasts and professionals undertaking general painting, bundling, and protection tasks. Its key benefit is good instant adhesion combined with easy removal from most surfaces, minimizing surface damage. A potential caveat is that its suitability for delicate or freshly painted surfaces should always be tested first, as 'most surfaces' can vary. This 36mm x 50m crepe paper tape offers reliable performance for everyday projects.

For best results, remove the tape slowly and at a 45-degree angle shortly after the paint has dried to the touch but is not fully cured. Ensure the surface underneath is clean and dry.
This is a general-purpose tape and may not provide the sharpest lines required for professional fine-line detail work. For such tasks, consider a specialist fine-line masking tape.
While designed for easy removal, it's best to remove the tape as soon as possible after the painting is completed and the paint is dry to the touch. Leaving it for extended periods, especially under direct sunlight or heat, may make removal more difficult and increase the risk of residue.
It means the tape sticks immediately upon contact with the surface, requiring less pressure to hold it in place during application compared to tapes with a slower initial adhesion.
The tape itself is generally resistant to light moisture but is not designed to be waterproof. It should not be relied upon for sealing or waterproofing applications.
The tape measures 36mm in width and comes in a roll of 50 meters in length.
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or moisture before application. Press the tape down firmly.
While designed for easy removal, residue can sometimes occur on certain surfaces or if the tape is left for an extended period, especially in high heat. Try gently warming the residue with a hairdryer on a low setting and then carefully peeling or wiping it away. Using a mild adhesive remover may also help, but test in an inconspicuous area first.
Apply and remove the tape smoothly and steadily. Avoid jerky movements. Ensure you are cutting the tape cleanly rather than ripping it.
Setup: Simply unroll the tape and apply it firmly to the desired surface. Ensure the surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesion. Cut the tape to the required length using scissors or a tape dispenser.
Compatibility: This tape is generally compatible with most common household surfaces including painted walls, wood, glass, metal, and plastic. However, it is recommended to test on a small, inconspicuous area first, especially on delicate, freshly painted, or porous surfaces to ensure easy removal.
Care: Store the tape in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to maintain its adhesive properties. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
