Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin using the tool, ensure your air compressor is set to a constant 90 PSI and verify that your airline provides between 6 and 8 CFM. When changing belts, ensure the tensioning mechanism is fully retracted, align the new belt centered on the rollers, and release the tension arm to lock it in place. Maintenance is minimal: apply a few drops of high-quality pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet before each use to keep the internal motor lubricated. Keep the unit free of excessive dust buildup, and store the spare aluminum oxide belts in a dry, cool environment to prevent premature degradation of the resin bond.
