Product Information
Full details
Dynamite Marine Halibut Pellets are designed for anglers looking to target larger species with a high-protein, oil-rich attractant that holds its structure in the water. These 8mm pre-drilled pellets are perfect for those who want a reliable bait that stays securely on the hook or hair rig throughout a session, though the smaller 350g pack size may be insufficient for anglers planning extended multi-day fishing trips.

FAQs
Are these pellets suitable for PVA bags?
Yes, their low moisture content makes them perfectly compatible with PVA materials.
Can I use these for species other than halibut?
Absolutely, they are highly effective for carp, barbel, and chub.
Do I need to drill these myself?
No, they come pre-drilled for immediate use on hair rigs.
How long do they last in the water?
Breakdown time varies by temperature and flow, but they are designed to remain firm for several hours.
Can I add liquid flavorings to these?
Yes, you can soak them in liquids to further boost their appeal.
Troubleshooting
Pellets are breaking down too quickly in the water.
Ensure you are using them in water temperatures suited for oil-based baits; in extremely cold water, try using a stiffer hair rig or smaller bait stops.
Bait is falling off the hair rig during casting.
Check that your bait stop is correctly seated against the pellet and that the hole is not enlarged from excessive force during threading.
Pros and Cons
Pros

Cons
- 350g bag size may be small for high-volume baiting campaigns.

- Only available in one size option.
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maximize the effectiveness of your Dynamite Marine Halibut Pellets, keep the bag tightly sealed in a cool, dry place to prevent the oils from oxidizing or the pellets from absorbing moisture. When setting up, use a standard baiting needle to thread the pellets onto your rig.
- Compatibility: Compatible with all standard carp and coarse fishing rigs including bolt rigs, method feeders, and simple running leads.
- Storage: Always reseal the bag after use to maintain the integrity of the attractants.
- Usage Tip: If you find the pellets are not attracting fish quickly enough in very cold water, consider coating them in a liquid booster or soak to increase the immediate scent dispersion.
