The Auraglow Tall Garden Spike Light is designed for homeowners and landscape enthusiasts looking to illuminate paths, borders, and driveways with a modern, elevated aesthetic. No, this product requires a GU10 bulb, which must be purchased separately.
Yes, the deep recessed holder accommodates most smart GU10 bulbs up to 75mm in length.
You can set the height based on your preference. Pushing it in deeper provides a lower profile, while a shallower installation maximizes the 92cm height.
Yes, the fixture is IP65 rated, meaning it is designed to withstand heavy rainfall and jetting water.
The product includes a 100cm cable; if you need more length, you must ensure any additional cabling is joined using a suitable outdoor-rated junction box.
Verify the bulb is seated correctly in the GU10 socket and check that the mains power supply is active.
Ensure the head is screwed on tightly and check that the glass diffuser gasket is free from debris.
Ensure the bulb is compatible with your dimmer switch if using one, or replace the bulb if it has reached the end of its life.
Installation requires access to a 240V outdoor power source. Ensure the spike is driven firmly into soft ground; for harder soil, pre-dig a small hole to avoid damaging the spike. The unit uses standard `GU10` lamps. To maintain the fitting, periodically wipe the tempered glass with a soft, damp cloth to ensure maximum light output and prevent mineral buildup. Check the IP68 connector yearly to ensure it remains tight and dry. Always switch off mains power before replacing bulbs or performing maintenance.
