Product Information
Full details
The Nektar Impact GXP61 MIDI controller keyboard offers expressive control for live and studio use with 61 velocity and aftertouch-sensitive full-size keys. Its streamlined control panel provides advanced DAW integration, including transport control, track selection, and volume/project navigation. Features include 14 assignable illuminated RGB buttons for visual feedback, a real-time Key Repeat engine for rhythmic elements, and dedicated controls for parameters like Tempo, Rate, Accent, Interval, Swing, and routing aftertouch modulation velocity. The rear panel includes a MIDI Out jack and connections for one expression and two footswitch pedals. The GXP61 can be powered via USB or an optional external power supply. When used with Nektarine software, it becomes a powerful master for software-based setups, allowing simultaneous use of up to 16 VST/AU instrument plugins and enabling custom zones, layers, and splits. Plugin settings and combinations can be saved into single Multi-patches for one-touch recall. The included software bundle features Steinberg's Cubase LE, Halion Sonic SE, Groove Agent SE, 23 audio effects, 5 GB of sounds and loops, and the Retrologue virtual analog synth. The keyboard includes pitch bend wheels, octave up/down indicators, transpose indicators, assignable controls, a potentiometer, a push encoder with tempo control, a Shift button for secondary functions, and a Note indicator. It has a 1/4“ TRS output jack and a 1/4” footswitch connection, plus a 9V DC power supply port and a power on/off switch.
