How do I choose the right size plug?

Can I use these plugs outdoors?

While nylon is durable, consider the specific environmental conditions. These plugs are suitable for indoor applications. For outdoor use, select fixings specifically designed for outdoor environments.

What if the plug doesn't fit properly?

Ensure the hole is the correct size for the plug. If the hole is too large, you may need to use a larger plug or fill the hole. If it's too small, re-drill with the correct bit.

Troubleshooting

Plug spins in the hole.

The hole may be too large. Try using a larger plug or filling the hole with a suitable filler material before reinserting the plug.

Screw doesn't tighten.

The screw may be too short, or the plug may not be fully expanded. Ensure the screw is long enough for the fixture and plug, and that the plug is properly seated in the wall.

Plug breaks during installation.

The hole may be too small, or the wrong drill bit was used. Ensure the correct drill bit size and try again, taking care to insert the plug straight into the hole.
