Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure both your source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console, PC) and your display device (e.g., TV, monitor, projector) support the desired resolution and features (like 8K/60Hz, 4K/120Hz, HDR, eARC).
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the output port of your source device and the other end to the input port of your display device.
- If using eARC, ensure the ports labeled 'eARC' or 'ARC' are used on both your TV and soundbar/receiver.
- Power on your devices. Your display should automatically detect the incoming signal.
Compatibility:
This cable is backwardly compatible with all previous HDMI specifications (1.4, 2.0, etc.). It will work with devices that have standard HDMI ports, but features like 8K resolution, 120Hz refresh rates, and advanced HDMI 2.1 functions will only be available when both connected devices fully support the HDMI 2.1 standard.
Care:
- Avoid excessive bending or kinking the cable, which can damage the internal wiring.
- Keep connectors clean. If dust accumulates, use a dry, soft brush or compressed air.
- Store the cable in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Do not expose the cable to extreme temperatures or moisture.
