16A Extension Lead - SPARES2GO

This lead is rated for 16 Amps at 240V, which equates to approximately 3840 Watts. It is crucial not to exceed this total load across all connected devices.

Yes, the lead is described as weather-resistant, making it suitable for outdoor use in various conditions. However, always ensure connections remain as dry as possible and inspect for damage before use in wet environments.

The 1.5mm cable thickness indicates a heavy-duty gauge, which is designed to safely handle higher current loads (up to 16A) over its length without overheating and ensures durability.

You can plug two devices into the included 16A splitter kit. Remember that the total power draw from all connected devices (including those plugged directly into the lead's end, if applicable) must not exceed the 16A rating of the lead itself.

Yes, the high-visibility blue color is a safety feature designed to make the cable easily seen, reducing the risk of tripping or accidental damage, especially in outdoor or busy work areas.

Yes, it is essential to unroll the extension lead completely before use, especially when operating at high loads. This allows for proper heat dissipation and prevents potential overheating or damage to the cable.

Ensure the lead is fully plugged into a working 16A socket. Check that the connected devices are switched on and not faulty. Verify that the total power draw of all connected devices does not exceed the 16A limit, which could trip an internal safety cut-out or the source breaker.

This can indicate a heavy load. Ensure the lead is fully unrolled. If the lead continues to feel excessively warm, reduce the number of devices connected or the power consumption of individual devices to stay within the 16A limit.

Check connections at the splitter. Ensure the main lead is receiving power. If one splitter is faulty, try connecting devices to the other splitter or directly to the lead's end if possible (though this lead has integrated splitters).
