Troubleshooting
Parasol is unstable or wobbly
Ensure adequate and securely placed counter weights are added to the cross base. A minimum of 80kg is generally recommended, but more may be needed in windy areas.
Crank handle is difficult to turn
Check the crank mechanism for any obstructions or debris. Lubricate the moving parts if necessary with a silicone-based spray.
Canopy fabric is dirty
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For larger areas, use a soft brush and a solution of water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before closing.
Parasol does not open or close smoothly
Inspect the ribs and canopy for any tears or snags. Ensure the crank mechanism is functioning correctly and is free of dirt.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Assemble the cross base.
- Insert the parasol pole into the base.
- Crucially, add substantial counter weights (not supplied) to the cross base. Recommended weights typically range from 80kg to 120kg, depending on your local conditions. Ensure the weights are securely placed.
- Use the crank handle to open the canopy.
- Adjust the canopy angle using the provided lever.
Compatibility:
- The parasol is designed with a cross base that accommodates standard weight plates or dedicated parasol base weights. Ensure any added weights are compatible with the base design.
- The cantilever design makes it compatible with spaces where a central pole would be inconvenient.
Care:
- Cleaning: The polyester canopy can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. For stubborn stains, a gentle brush may be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: In windy conditions or during the off-season, it is highly recommended to close the parasol and secure it with a cover (sold separately) to prevent damage.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the frame and fabric for wear and tear. Ensure the crank mechanism is free from debris.
