FAQs
Are these nappies suitable for overnight use?
Giggles XL Nappies are designed for daily activity and movement, though they provide high absorbency for most toddlers throughout the night.
What does the 15+kg weight rating mean?
This indicates the nappy is engineered to provide the best fit and containment for children weighing 15 kilograms or more.
Can I use these for swim time?
No, these are not swim nappies and will swell with water if submerged in a pool.
How should I dispose of these nappies?
Tear the sides, roll the nappy into a tight bundle using the back tape if provided, and dispose of it in a regular waste bin.
Are these products fragrance-free?
The materials are dermatologically tested for safety and sensitivity; please refer to the packaging for specific ingredient details regarding scents.
Troubleshooting
Nappy leaking at the legs
Ensure the elastic leg cuffs are fully extended and not tucked inwards after putting the nappy on.
Difficulty tearing side seams
Ensure you are pulling at the indicated tear points; if they are tight, use a small amount of extra force to break the seal cleanly.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Excellent freedom of movement for active children
- Soft, breathable fabric reduces risk of irritation
- Convenient tear-away sides for fast changes
- Reliable fit for toddlers 15kg and above
Cons
- Requires removing lower clothing for application
- Pull-on style may be less intuitive for first-time users
- Limited to one specific weight category (15+kg)
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best performance, pull the Giggles XL Nappy up until it sits comfortably at the waist. Ensure the leg cuffs are pulled out fully to prevent leaks. Store these nappies in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or moisture to maintain the integrity of the elastic and absorbent polymers. Avoid using heavy lotions or powders inside the nappy, as these can interfere with the absorbency layers and potentially cause irritation.
