FAQs

Do I need any tools to build this?

No, the kit is designed for a snap-together assembly process, meaning no glue, paint, or specialized modeling tools are required.

How tall is the finished Bumblebee figure?

The completed figure stands approximately 13.3cm tall.

Are batteries included for the LED lights?

Typically, these kits require small coin-cell batteries for the LED functions; please check the specific packaging contents upon arrival.

Is this suitable for children?

While it is a model kit for fans, it contains many small parts and is recommended for older children and adults to ensure safe handling and assembly.

Can I transform this figure?

No, this is a buildable model figure designed for display and posing, not for vehicle-to-robot transformation.

Are the parts painted?

The parts come pre-colored, allowing for a high-quality finished look without the need for manual painting.

Troubleshooting

LED lights not turning on

Check the battery compartment inside the chest assembly to ensure the batteries are seated correctly and the pull-tab has been fully removed.

Joints feel loose after posing

Ensure that the joint pieces were fully snapped into their housing during the initial assembly phase. If loose, gently press the connection point to ensure a flush fit.

Pros and Cons

Pros

No glue or paint required for assembly
High level of poseability with 20 points of articulation
Eye-catching LED light-up features
Detailed design based on the Transformers One series
Includes a display base for secure positioning

Cons

Requires careful assembly of small plastic parts
LED features may require periodic battery replacement
Not intended for heavy-duty play like traditional action figures
Small components may be a choking hazard for younger children

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Assembly should be performed on a flat, well-lit surface to avoid losing the smaller components. When snapping parts together, apply firm but gentle pressure to avoid stressing the plastic. The figure is compatible with other Blokees Transformers Classic Class sets for consistent display aesthetics. To care for your figure, wipe it gently with a dry microfiber cloth to remove dust; avoid using chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the plastic finish or damage the internal LED circuitry.
