No, the kit includes the gate frame, composite boards, and hardware, but posts must be purchased separately.
Yes, the composite boards can be cut to size using standard wood-working tools, though you should verify the frame integrity after adjustment.
Use a soft brush and warm soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals or high-pressure washers.
Yes, the composite material is designed to resist rot, warping, and fading compared to natural timber.
You will need a drill/driver, a level, a tape measure, and a saw if you intend to customize the gate dimensions.
Loosen the frame fasteners, re-align using a framing square on a flat surface, and re-tighten while ensuring the diagonal measurements are equal.
Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the hinge pins and ensure the mounting screws are tightened to the gate post.
Use a specialized composite touch-up pen or fine-grain sanding block to gently blend the scratch into the surrounding texture.
To install this gate, ensure your gate posts are securely set in concrete and capable of supporting the weight of the assembly. Assemble the aluminium frame first, ensuring all corners are square before attaching the composite boards. Use the provided hardware kit for all connection points to prevent corrosion. For ongoing care, simply wash the surface with mild soapy water and a soft brush to remove dust or debris; avoid using high-pressure washers, which may damage the surface finish. If you need to trim the boards to fit a specific width, use a fine-toothed blade to prevent chipping the composite edges.
