FAQs

Is the On Running Core-T true to size?

Yes, it follows a standard regular fit. If you prefer a tighter, athletic fit, some users suggest sizing down.

Can I use this for high-intensity interval training?

Absolutely. The lightweight and breathable nature of the fabric makes it suitable for high-sweat, intense activities.

Does the fabric stretch over time?

The material is designed to retain its shape even after multiple wash cycles, provided care instructions are followed.

Is this shirt suitable for winter running?

It is an excellent base layer for winter running, though you may need to pair it with a jacket depending on the outside temperature.

How should I dry this shirt?

Air-drying is the best method to preserve the fabric's technical properties and overall shape.

Troubleshooting

Fabric feels damp after long runs

Ensure you are not layering the tee under non-breathable windbreakers that trap sweat against the fabric.

Fabric has developed an odor after repeated use

Use a specialized sports laundry detergent to break down sweat oils more effectively than standard detergents.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Exceptionally lightweight feel
Breathable fabric for year-round comfort
Versatile design suitable for running and casual wear
Durable construction for frequent use

Cons

Regular fit may be too loose for those preferring compression gear
Limited design options compared to performance-specific technical shirts
Lacks reflective elements for low-light safety

Setup, Compatibility & Care

The Core-T requires no special setup. To maintain the integrity of the performance fabric, it is recommended to wash in cool water with like colors. Avoid using harsh fabric softeners or bleach, as these can degrade the moisture-wicking finish of the fibers. For best results, hang dry the shirt rather than using a high-heat tumble dryer to prevent shrinkage and extend the lifespan of the material.
