FAQs
What is the pattern repeat for this wallpaper?
The wallpaper has a 53cm pattern repeat with a 26.5cm offset pattern match, meaning every other length of wallpaper needs to be dropped by half the pattern repeat distance to align correctly.
Do I need a special type of paste?
This is a paste-the-paper wallpaper, so a standard wallpaper adhesive suitable for decorative wallpapers should be used. Always follow the paste manufacturer's instructions for preparation and application.
Can this wallpaper be used in a bathroom?
While it can be used in well-ventilated bathrooms, it is not specifically designed for high-moisture environments. Excessive humidity may affect its adhesion and finish over time.
How do I clean the wallpaper?
For light cleaning, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, which could damage the finish.
What are the dimensions of one roll?
Each roll measures 10.05 meters in length and 53 centimeters in width.
What makes this wallpaper 'high-quality'?
The quality is indicated by its smooth finish, the addition of metallic highlights for a premium look, and its durable paper stock designed for ease of application and longevity when cared for properly.
Troubleshooting
Bubbles or creases appearing after application.
Gently lift the affected section and re-smooth it using a wallpaper brush or smoother, working from the center outwards. For stubborn bubbles, a small pinprick might release trapped air.
Difficulty aligning the pattern repeat.
Take your time and use a spirit level and measuring tape. Ensure the offset match (26.5cm) is correctly accounted for when hanging each subsequent strip. It may be helpful to pre-cut a few strips to practice alignment.
Wallpaper not sticking properly.
Ensure the wall surface is properly prepared and clean. Verify that wallpaper paste has been applied evenly and sufficiently to the paper, and that it was allowed to book correctly.
Metallic highlights look uneven or are damaged.
Handle the wallpaper with care to avoid scuffing the metallic areas. Clean only with a slightly damp cloth; avoid rubbing vigorously.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure walls are clean, dry, and free from old wallpaper or loose paint. Lightly sand any imperfections.
- Measure the wall height and add a few extra inches for trimming.
- Cut the wallpaper to the required length, ensuring the pattern is oriented correctly.
- Apply wallpaper paste evenly to the back of the paper, following the paste manufacturer's instructions.
- Allow the paper to 'book' (soak in the paste) for the time specified by the paste manufacturer.
- Hang the first strip vertically, using a spirit level to ensure it's straight. Smooth out any air bubbles with a wallpaper brush or smoother.
- Apply subsequent strips, carefully aligning the pattern repeat (53cm with a 26.5cm offset match) with the previous strip.
Compatibility:
- Suitable for application on most prepared interior walls, including plaster, lining paper, and previously painted surfaces (ensure paint is sound).
- Not recommended for use in high-moisture areas like bathrooms unless adequately sealed and ventilated.
Care:
- Clean gently with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or excessive moisture, as this can damage the metallic highlights and paper finish.
