Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Locate your vehicle's OEM airbox.
- Open the airbox and carefully remove the existing paper air filter.
- Clean any debris from inside the airbox.
- Insert the RamAir PRORAM filter, ensuring it sits flush and securely.
- Close the airbox, confirming a proper seal.
Compatibility:
This PRORAM element (PPF-2008) is specifically designed to fit the OEM airbox for compatible BMW models. Always verify your vehicle's specific air filter part number and consult the RamAir fitment guide to ensure compatibility before purchasing.
Care:
To maintain optimal performance and longevity:
- Remove the filter from the airbox.
- Gently rinse the filter with cool water to remove loose dirt.
- For deeper cleaning, use a specialized filter cleaning solution (ensure it is compatible with synthetic media) and rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstallation. Do not use heat or compressed air, as this can damage the filter media.
- Reinstall the dry filter into the airbox.
