Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires basic hand tools to mount the hook to a wall surface. It is highly recommended to anchor the hook into a wooden stud or use heavy-duty wall anchors suitable for your specific wall type, such as drywall or brick, to ensure the weight of the items does not pull the hardware loose.
To care for your hook, inspect it periodically for signs of oxidation. If surface rust appears, simply rub the affected area with fine wire wool until smooth. To prevent future rust, especially in humid environments, wipe the hook with a light coat of oil or wax polish. This process seals the metal and maintains the antique look while providing a protective barrier against humidity.
